No-agenda, come-as-you-please!

Wellness matters!

We know that wellness matters to you, and part of physician wellness is providing outlets to connect with others who understand the stress and strain of medicine. We are pleased to announce a new NCMS initiative – our come-as-you-please, no-agenda Social Groups.

Here's the process:

Fill out our Google form indicating your interest in no-pressure social activities with your physician friends and colleagues such as hiking, biking, breweries, fishing, skiing and more.
NCMS staff will add you to the NCMS Social Groups Basecamp, a secure site for information-sharing and discussions, that has an events calendar function.
Scroll the activities others have posted in the calendar, post things you are interested in, and let others in the group know you’re IN for an activity.
Visit the NCMS Social Groups Basecamp often; scroll, post and repeat.

There is no pressure to coordinate activities! We want this to be member-driven and casual, facilitating friendships based on common interests. Retired and love golfing? Have young kids who would love time at a splash pad or playground? New to town and want to double-date to a fun restaurant? All members are welcome and all ideas are welcome!
